Pricing and renderings were leaked.
On August 10, Samsung will unveil its new Galaxy Z Fold 4, which has already been leaked in its entirety less than two weeks before its official debut. As a matter of fact, two major leaks have hit the web at the same time, exposing information on potential features as well as pricing.
The leaked renderings published by Evan Blass give us our first glimpse at what the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 may look like. a reliable source for information
According to the images, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is available in three colours: black, beige, and an olive-greenish hue.
In this image, you can clearly see a triple-lens camera, and the phone’s shape is very comparable to that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. According to earlier leaked images, this design is likely to be correct.
Additionally, several renderings of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 have surfaced, and they resemble the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and match prior leaks. There is a dual-lens camera on the back in a black strip, while the remainder of the back is presented in graphite, gold, blue, or purple colours.
Price is next on the list. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 will cost 1,998,700 won for 256GB of storage and 2,097,700 won for 512GB, according to the South Korean portal Naver. For the sake of simplicity, we won’t be doing any currency changes because these are precisely the same costs as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 went on sale for.
A 256GB model would cost $1,899/£1,699/AU$2,649, with a starting price of $1,799/£1,599. The price rise mentioned in the other leaked information is a little out of character, so we’ll proceed with caution in light of that.
According to the latest information, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will start at 1,299,000 won for a 256GB model and go up to 1,398,000 won for a 512GB model.
However, if this leak is correct, the 256GB Z Flip 4 might cost roughly what the 256GB variant of the Z Flip 3 did — it’s just that there could not be a cheaper 128GB version this time. There is a possibility that this year’s beginning price will be approximately $1,049 (£999) or $1,599 (AU$1,599).
In the end, Flip was a disappointment
Increasing the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 might harm the company’s most popular foldable phone line.
To put it another way: By foldable-phone standards, the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 was pretty reasonable. We had anticipated that Samsung would retain the pricing at the same level or decrease it further in order to sustain or expand on that momentum.
As this is simply a leak at the moment, the corporation might yet do so. Samsung’s decision to exclude a 128GB model this year, even though bypassing it implies a higher beginning price, also seems strange.
A cheaper base model than what we’ve heard above would be great. If the price is right, this may be one of the greatest foldable phones, but it’s never going to be cheap enough to be one of the best inexpensive phones.
