The Redmi Buds 4 and 4 Pro were released only in China when Xiaomi launched them in May. We anticipated that the TWS headsets will eventually be made available abroad as well, and based on the listing on Amazon UK, Europe is the next region.
The vanilla Redmi Buds 4 are priced at £50 and are available in Light Blue and White. Apparently, they aren’t quite ready for launch yet, since they “were listed” on the page before it was removed. The Redmi Buds 4 Pro cost £90 and are available in black and white.
Both headsets offer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), although the Pros do a better job of it, cutting noise by 43 dB as opposed to the vanilla buds’ 35 dB. The Pros also offer a low latency mode and a dual-speaker design with a 10mm driver and a 6mm tweeter (59ms).
The release date for the Redmi Buds 4 and 4 Pro is unknown. The Redmi Buds 3 Pro cost £50 compared to the vanilla model’s £38 MSRP for the previous iteration. Of course, they lack the 4-series’ capabilities.
