Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 appears to feature Gorilla Glass Victus+, charge faster

Gorilla Glass Victus+ will replace the original Victus on the Z Fold3’s cover display and rear panel in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. We had previously heard reports of a “Super UTG” material for the bigger inner display. The improved hinge design, at the very least, should decrease the wrinkle.

Qwaider added more information. To speed things up, Samsung has tweaked the curve of its Z Fold4’s charging, even though it still uses 25W and has a 4,270mAh battery. The 2021 foldable’s battery barely reached 33% charge after half an hour of charging in our tests. In the same length of time, the Z Fold4 is expected to increase by 50%.

The camera on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 is about to get a huge upgrade. Claims have been made about a 50MP primary camera and a 3x lens for the telephoto module (up from 2x). As for the 16MP camera on the cover display, it’s unlikely to be updated.

The Z Fold4’s cover display will feature thinner bezels and a less stretched out aspect ratio, which brings us back to the display. There is no doubt that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will power the device (as will the Z Flip4). The Fold is scheduled to go on sale at the same price as its predecessor, which was released last year. There will be a formal announcement next week.
