WhatsApp tests hiding online status on Android

The additional privacy it provides will help keep you secure when shopping online.

WhatsApp offered the ability to conceal your Last seen status from select contacts in November of last year.

Although it was a good first step, the company has been working on many other privacy-enhancing features since then.

WhatsApp introduced the ability to hide your online status earlier this month, and it is now rolling out to the WhatsApp beta for Android devices.
